Thank you to everyone who came along to this years 24 hour race. It was a fantastic event and great fun was had by all. The racing was as enjoyable and close as ever and the extra breeze on Sunday provided some excitement for the sailors and some fun for the spectators.
A big thank you is required to Mercedes Benz Hertfordshire and Bradwell Outdoor Center for their donations of raffle prizes and also to North Sails for their sailing prizes.
The racing was as tight as ever with very close results throughout the overall results, Congratulations to the Solo Team from Paxton Lakes SC as the overall winners, the British Moth team from SESCA in 2nd place and 1st visitors and only just in 3rd place were the Supernova team from WGCSC. The Junior Trophy was won by Paxton Lakes SC junior team in a club Lark despite the boats best efforts to disintegrate during the 24 hours and finally the paddle was won by the team from Hunts Sea Cadets who battled through the 24 hours in their Graduate.

Jack - Hunts Sea Cadets - Having learnt to sail last year spent 12 of the 24 hours at the helm of their Graduate.
Oskar - Cambridgeshire School & Youth Sailing Assoc - the smallest ever and probably youngest (age 8) Laser 3000 crew, seen trapezing for many an hour
Idris - WGCSC - For momentous determination in the Streaker despite numerous capsizes when the wind got up on Sunday just kept going round
Andy - Paxton Lakes SC - Another young sailor who's only been sailing a short while with great determination.
